They serve great chinese food. You can get alot of food for the price. Their appetizers are great also.

I disagree with the statement that, "Number 1 China is the BEST Chinese food in the County." They might have the BEST Chinese food in ALGONAC. But in my opinion, Number 1 China is NOT BEST Chinese in the County, by any means. Number 1 China fails horribly in comparison to Marine City’s Chinese food establishment, Won Ton Palace.

Number 1 China is more or less like a family owned McDonald’s. With few people who can actually speak a lick of English in order to service you. Sure your food is out quickly but it is of much poorer quality than surrounding Chinese establishments. Not to mention, most of their meals are very bland, lacking that edge that many traditional Chinese dishes are known for.

As far as seating and dining in at Number 1 China, Don’t even think about it. You’ll feel like you’re eating IN the KITCHEN. Of the few table they do have, all of them lack the element of intimacy and privacy of normal in house dining that is usually provided at other like establishments. The experience is definitely loud and at times bothersome. If you do decide to order from here, just take it home and enjoy it.

With everything I’ve stated above, Overall, I would have to say I wouldn’t recommend this establishment to anyone who likes or enjoys traditional Chinese food in a quiet and inviting environment.

In turn I would recommend for you, if you are truly in the mood for AMAZING Chinese food, to bypass this place and make the extra 10 minute trip up M-29 to Won Ton Palace in Marine City. They have everything. If you don’t believe me either check it out for yourself and prove me wrong or read my review of Won Ton Palace on this same site. Seriously just try them and you’ll see how AMAZING they really are.

I hope this review will allow visitors and residents of Algonac alike to make an informed decision of where the best places to eat can be found and enjoyed.

Great eats. Fast and clean. A 5 in our book. There are no real good restaurants in Algonac everybodys gone. If you count the fast food restaurants we still have no good place to eat. Number 1 china is the place to go.
