User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsAs the other reviews say, it is very clean and well maintained. Lots of amenities and everything is very convienient. However, if you are there on a Friday and Saturday as most people are, expect to be very close to other campers. Quiet hours are not strictly enforced either. We stayed outside the late night loop and at 2:00 am it was still like spring break. If anybody is familiar with NRO at the Niangua river, this is the Elk's version. Basically if you're going to go here, go on Sunday.

Have to say, we drive down from Overland Park, KS to Noel at least once a year. We love this place! It is kept clean, the store is very handy, and they have great food. We don't like to cook esp. breakfast and the buffet works out great. The river is not cold like some other streams we have been on. The place is usually pretty busy on the weekends, so if you are after peace and quiet you might think about going during the week.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI've been going to this place for the last 10years the truly is the " area's finest" Its got everything you need. Safety and fun. Its got a place for family and the party people. If you want to float the elk river you have to go to River Ranch Resort.
