I love Dr Thompson & her entire staff. They are the GREATEST!!! They take care of all 6 of my dogs & 6 cats & they are amazing. Best vet I have ever had. They have taken care of my furkids from everything to simple check ups & shots. To one who had a stroke, diabetes & bone cancer. Very loving, caring & very reasonable fees. I don't know about the last 2 reviews being so negative. They must be mistaken about what vet they went to. There is no way this is Tabbs Creek animal Hospital. Nothing but love & respect for pets & their owners there. Nothing but. If you are looking for a Vet or your not happy with yours. And you love & care for your pets. Proceed immediately to Tabbs Creek Animal Hospital. The are truly the best.
I was not impressed with the courtesy and animal management of this Vet. They did not listen when I described the issues with my pet, that he was aggressive, so they mishandled him and he fear bit someone. I had offered to muzzle him but they said they could handle it. Ha! I will never be going to this vet again.
The below is based on my and my familyâs opinion:
I have never bee more disappointed with the vet care that my German shepherd received at Tabbs Creek. I do not recommend this vet to anyone. My German shepherd supposedly had parvo @11 months old. I notified the vet and the vet techs that he is aggressive with strangers and that I would put a muzzle on him. They assured me that they could handle the situation then I paid the $300.00 parvo down payment for treatment. I came to get my pup later that day as they could not give him ay treatment as he was too agitated. So my pup with parvo stayed with ought water/food or treatment for an entire day in their entirely too small cage. I had to ask for anti nausea meds 4 times before I was given the meds. My dog is healthy and was only under the weather for 24 hours. As my pup received no treatment you would expect there to have been no bill. This is not the case as only part of the $300.00 deposit was returned.
Please do not take a chance with a loving petâs life. Please take your pet to a vet who will listen to you as you know your animal better than they ever could.
I would not recommend anyone to even bring a dead animal to this facility for disposal.
In my opinion the location is horrible. The facility is small and in no way accommodating and the only thing the office offers as a positive is Vera their receptionist.
I recommend everyone to contact any of the below for their vet care before calling Tabbs Creek
