Went there last night for dinner. Evidently, you are seated with other groups. Reservations are necessary so we were on time. The other group was not, so we waited for twenty minutes when they finally showed. TWhen finally arriving,there were 4 children under 4 yrs and the baby already fussing. It is now 30 minutes after our reservation and still not seated,when we decided we weren't chancing a lousy time and still having to pay top dollar. There should be rules in place like small children have to be seated at 5 or so or not at all. I thought people would know that later hours are meant for persons that know how to conduct themselves. Also, there should be a threshhold on how long you have to wait. Managing is not well thought out. When I complained about waiting, the attendants acted like this was normal...

we come to NY for the wine festival every year in july. No matter where we stay we drive way out of our way to eat at Simon's. The hibatchi is as good as any but the tapas is amazing. I wish we had a place like this at home. We always meet great people and get great service.

Simon's is excellent. The Tapas side and the wok side is very very good. Highly recommended. The
food is excellent and so is the service.
