User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI just found this place a few weks ago. Its one of the best mexican food I have had in a while. Very fresh and they they have a great salsa bar. My wife and I have been there 4 times in the past two weeks.

Terrible!!! If they think this is good mexican food they will be out of business shortly. The chimichanga was burnt & the tortillia became unedible. Inside was cubed beef. Thats it! no seasoning. On the side was sour cream and guacamole that was not tasty. and yellow rice that was so bland with no seasoning or flavor. Same with the black beans. Have they heard of an onion? you know you can cut one and add it to the black beans for flavor!
I know Green Cactus costs a little more but I would rather pay the extra few dollars to get something that actaully has flavor. If your going to try to copy green cactus or baja fresh at least try a little bit harder. Do something original and DON"T FORGET THE FLAVOR!!!!
PS to the owners of Blue Tortillia. You may want to keep your bowls of salsa on ice instead of room temperature all day. This way guests can actually take home fresh sauce. I'm sure Suffolk Board of Health would love that one.
I usually give places a chance or know they may have an "off" night. but you can tell by the quality of ingredients they use that they are cutting corners and trying to capitalize on the branding of green cactus. Shame on you!! -

The best Mexican food in the area - much tastier than overpriced and overrated Green Cactus or Baja Grill. Always fresh ingredients and large portions. Fast and friendly service, good prices. The Burrito Gamba is awesome.
