    As a displaced Southern Californian, I miss really great Mexican food. El Compadre comes close. I eat here about once a week. Food is always good. Service is good. Drinks are good. My favorite is enchiladas a la crema, but it's very rich. The gordonas (charbroiled game hen) is also good.

    EXCELLENT!!: My family was in Warrenton for vacation and we saw this little restaurant and we just had to stop. It wasn't open yet so we waited about 10 minutes and I'm glad we waited. The food was great, the service was excellent and the atmospere was very warm and inviting. It felt like I was really in Mexico. All the bright colors and decorations. I really loved the artwork on the beautiful chairs and tables. I can't wait to go back!!
