Nazareth Veterinary Center has always been a 5 star Vet Center since it opened in 199...ummm it's been a while, in your old location of Nazareth in that tiny little strip mall. I have know Dr. John since he first became a Vet back in 1990, and stayed loyal to his practice because of my Rottweiler Magic, who with his great care and the support of his staff through thick and thin with this dog, lived till she was 13 1/2 years old. When it was time to say goodbye to Magic, Dr. John was there to help her pass on, not an easy thing for anyone to have to go through. Overall the care and quality of this Vet Center is one of the Very Best in the Northampton County, Lehigh County and all other surronding areas.
There are 4 vets at this clinic: Dr John Yaswinski; Dr Kelly Mullin, & Dr Janice Lashmet, & Dr. Lori Bankowski (whom I haven't met). All the vets seem competent and the support staff is friendly and helpful. I have been taking my dog and two cats there for 9 years and have no complaints. My dog has some very complicated medical issues and was referred out to Dr. Ron Hodges, an internal medicine specialist; his ongoing care is managed between Dr. John and Dr. Ron and he has been stable for two years. Update: my dog has another medical issue & again I have been appreciate of Dr John's willingness to do outside consults with specialists, and his staff's patience with my dog's need for frequent last-minute dressing replacements (as the dressing for his wound frequently falls off--not the tech's fault; his injury is in a hard place to dress).
Dr. John is great! My first meeting with him was unfortunately due to the fact my dog got hit by a car and needed hip surgery. I was referred by a friend to NVC. He came in the room and plopped right down on the floor with my dog and I. He gave her hugs and kisses as he examined her. I've never seen that. Bonus the fees were reasonable!
