User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat food and unique dining concept!: Green Bowl is a must-do, anytime I'm in State College. It is a unique stir fry style restaurant that allows you to pick your own ingredients and sauces. The weekends are the best because they sometimes offer a few special items like scallops and tuna that goes well with any vegetable. And I noticed they have a few dessert offerings. Try the Peanut Butter pie (YUM!). I kept making OK tasting bowls until I read their sauce board, duh! The key to a good bowl is to read the sauce scoops recommendations. My friend is a vegetarian and she loves Green Bowl too. It's truly the best bang for your buck. I can't wait to go back.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsInteractive Eating!: I love this place. I remember seeing commercials for it and thinking -- who just wants to eat a whole bunch of vegetables? But the stir fry is awesome. The choices are all up to you and the selection is unbeatable: sprouts, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, tomatoes, edamame, you name it. Top it off w/ your favorite sauce combination and meat choice (shrimp, beef, or chicken. All you can eat, so if you screwed up your sauce combination, just try a different one! Drawbacks: moderately priced; no coffee; no alcohol. But the experience and food are well worth it.
