    Expensive for meal. The Family and I visited the Captain's Table in mid August 2009. Service felt rushed and the food quality was sub-par. Not the place to go if your looking for a good steak or lage slab of prime rib!

    I dined here on July 26, 2008. I was initially a little skeptical of a place advertising seafood in a place so far away from any ocean, but this restaurant exceeded my expectations on many counts. The food was great, the staff was friendly, the service excellent. I ordered the prime rib, which was delicious. I had the clam chowder as my appetizer and that was fantastic as well. The owners obviously give customer satisfaction a very high priority; you will not be disappointed by The Captain's Table in Custer, SD!

    The Captain's Table is a treat anytime, the owners run it so every detail is attended to. Their menu includes steaks, seafood and the best prime rib that money can buy. They have a full service bar and excellent wine list. The wait staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. They are open from May through December and if you are lucky enough to be there on New Year's Eve you are in for a special treat as they present an enormous salad /appetizer table and a dessert station.
