| About: | This ultra-casual bar called La Tuna Grill provides the perfect backdrop for soaking up a few brews, a little sun and a lot of local color. A few tables are inside, but most of the action takes place on the patio, under a canopy of huge pecan trees. When they open the purple garage door, you know it is time to party. For a list of beers, ask the bartender or just look at the bottle caps blanketing the patio. |

ME AND MY BOYFRIEND LOVE TO GO TO LA TUNA IT VERY RELAXING FOR THE BOTH OF US. THE BEST OF IT ALL IS THAT ITS OUTSIDE THE PEOPLE ARE VERY FREINDLY ITS A GREAT SOCAL PLACE
VERITIY OF BEER THAT THEY HAVE IS AWWWWSOME...
After all this talk about "La Tuna this, La Tuna that", now I come to understand all the commotion about this wonderful open air establishment! No "meat market" here just plain fun and COLD BEER! I moved to San Antonio recently and I feel right at home. Thanks to La Tuna and especially that great "beertender" and music lover, Eddie! Look forward to being there every Fri. and Sat. just for the cold ones and the great music this guy plays. Too bad he cannot be cloned! Watching him work makes me real thirsty for more beer. The other beer handlers should pick up some tips from this guy. No mood swings,no texting on the phone while on duty, and most important NO THIRSTY CUSTOMERS! Thanks La Tuna and Thanks Eddie, now I know what the rave and ranting is all about! One less Yankee and one more Tuna fan!!!!!!!
p.s. Girl with the tats and red hair. Carrie, I believe, how hard can it be to serve beer with a smile. Maybe, La Tuna is not your kind of fun place to be. After a hard day at work, who needs more attitude!!
La Tuna is a nice patio bar and resturaunt! Their beer selection is great (they even have wine) and their food is even better! I've tried the blackened fish tacos with the tangy nopalito (cactus) salad, the lamb sandwich with seasoned steak fries, the portabello sandwich, the seared salmon salad with onion vinagarette and their hamburgers--ALL DELICIOUS! They even have a small inside/air conditioned eating area. I highly recommend La Tuna for a nice patio dinner and a beer!
