After searching DFW for a GOOD deep dish pizza place, someone finally told me about unos! Yay! I was sooo excited! I looked up the website and decided it was time to go! We went today, on Valentines day. What a crock! I agree with user Joe B. - they pretty much nailed it. (oh, and we went between lunch/dinner, so it wasn't that busy) Pizza was disappointing... Server James S. was even worse. Now, don't get me wrong. His disposition was polite, and kind. However, he needs a damn hearing aide, cause he didn't hear ANYTHING I said. I finally had enough when he brought the wrong food to the table. (which cost $3.00 more than what I wanted, and WAS on the check.) This place gave me mixed signals. I came in seeing a great staff. All I got was incompetence. Don't waste your time. Just go to Chicago if you want real Deep Dish Pizza. (but avoid Unos!)

"""Their pizza is amazing and they are super fast"""
Do you know why it's super fast? Because they pre-bake their crusts and they sit there forever. We ordered a deep dish pizza and it came out some 15 minutes later. Pizza that comes out of a 700 degree oven should give your tongue 3rd degree burns if not cooled.
Yet we dug right into our limp, gummy, luke warm goo pizza without even slowing down. The sauce tasted like it was just tomato sauce out of a can and the sausage was void of flavor anything akin to any sausage in the world. The meat tasted like something that sat on the packing house floor for a week and then was scraped up and fried. It had an off putting taste.
Real pizzarias use actual spices that can be seen visually. Sage, oregeno and rosemary to name a few.
All this for 18.00 bucks for a pizza the size of a Frisbee.
Precooked crust
Limp gummy texture
Tasteless
No spices
Small
Expensive
The food was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive. We felt welcomed and enjoyed every minute.

You must not be able to taste or know anything about pizza. Their food is amazing. I LOVE their thin crust pizzas. They run their restaurant fantastically. I have taken many friends there, and I have never had a single person say it was any less then excellent. This is a fantastic restaurant and I highly recommend it!
