This place is the best EVER! if you get a chance to go, please go, theyre soo inexpensive yet delicious, everytime i go, i get the same thing, a stromboli, and the hot wings are a must as an appetizer, theyre the best hot wings ive had at an italian restaurant, they arent the puny little wings, these wings an legs are massive, theyre def. worth it. I LOVE YOU TONY!

The food is inexensive. I got a slice of cheese pizza at vitos for 1.75, and topped it with Italian seasoning, powdered cheese, and red pepper, for free. It was large-- the size of 2 average sized pieces from other pizza rstrnts. The pizza was good. My friends' cheese fries were quite large; I liked the fact that they were not greasy. No smoking indoors, by the way. ;)

I can't say enough about Vito's. I've been ordering from them ever since my roommate and his friends introduced me to their favorite restaurant 4 years ago. When dining in, the service is always fast and friendly. Delivery is prompt and, when phoning in your order, the person on the other end is easy to understand and always gets it right (which is difficult to find in the Fan).

As for the food? AMAZING. And the price? CRAZY.

My roommate would always get their pepperoni pizza, claiming it was the best in Richmond (this coming from a New York-raised Italian American whose anal-retentive food catering mother taught him to be choosy). When my fellow-cheeseburger addicted girlfriend and I began eating there we were astounded by what we saw on the menu: $3 CHEESEBURGERS!!! Needless to say, we were skeptical, but they were great and became a staple in my diet (or my lack-there-of).

Their side salads are fantastic also, and dirt cheap. They come topped with black olives, salami, onions and provolone cheese. Throw some ranch on that sucka' and you're in business.

But THE BEST, and I'm talkin' about my desert island food, is their stromboli (or their calazone if you like ricotta). The personal stromboli costs around $7 and is usually about 12" by 6". If you get the large, you'll probably laugh at how big it is. It's filled to the brim with amazing cheese, pepperoni, and ham. They coat it with some kind of garlicky glaze and bake it to perfection. Just thinking of dippin' that bad boy in some of Vito's marinara is driving me crazy. Is it love? I think it is.
