    Best food in Stowe (which isn't very high praise): The good news is that the food is ok, comparable to a middling to good bistro in New York or Boston. And unfortunately that level of performance is enough to lift to to the top of the Stowe area restuarants. Prices are high even by Stowe standards and that can limit the enjoyment here, but the ambiance and the service were fine. Last time I had the lobster 'mac and cheese' and found it too heavy and was dissapointed (I'm not from Kansas like the previous reviewer.) Overall this place can survive on the stupid money tourist trade, but they could do better.
