The owner of Pick 'N Save, Roundy's, has recently "Cut Back" prices - most between 10-20 cents - though most prices are still higher than Woodman's or Walmart. For example, avacados on sale at Pick 'N Save are $1.29. Go to Walmart and buy them for 98 cents, 69 cents at Woodmans last time I looked. Bagged spinach is $2.49 at Pick 'N Save - it may be purchased at Woodmans for $1.79. Still a large discrepancy in pricing. The lowering of prices by Roundy's hardly seems worth the employee wages they paid to clutter up the aisles with "Cut Back" signage that interferes with shoppers seeing product pricing. My interpretation of this new "Cut Back" program is that they were screwing us price wise even more before.
Who is "Chaiman Bob" who approves such things?
