My daughter really loves the camp.
I would not of thought anything inoppropriate was going on until I went to pick her up recently.
All of the children were at the pool dangling their feet in when I approached. There was not one counselor at the pool, or anywhere near enough if one of them were to quitely slip in. One of the children informed me that he could not swim at all. I was told that "they were keeping an eye" on all of the children. While I was there that same day I was informed by some of the female campers that a fight had occured between two of the counselors and apparently their mothers. I am unsure of what the actual accounts were but the fact that there was violence in front of the children camping there makes me very leary. The owner is a very nice and caring man from my observances but some of the staff although great with the animals lack neccesary people skills! The animals are all well taken care of with loving hands. In my opinion if the staff were better trained in the supervision of our precious children, the farm would truely prosper. Hopefully the owner will read this and take it for what it is and make the needed improvements. I know he has the best intentions. Running a business is hard work and vey difficult at times. Just consider how each parent expects and counts on each their children to be cared for by another as if he or she were their own. This farm at this point in time is great for a ride but not for camp. With a few improvements it will strive!

I have had multiple rides with Dead Broke Farm. They are very organized and polite. I must have had SOME reason for coming back so often, it was because of the wonderful experience out there. Anyone who rides DBF will have an awesome experience.

My daughter had her 6th Birthday Party at Dead Broke Farm in late May. She's still talking about it! The kids did a 20 minute hand-led trail ride through the woods and played on the playground in between rides. The picnic area is in a beautiful shaded area adjacent to the playground. My daughter said this was her best birthday ever!
