User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsAvoid Zeke's completely. Really wanted to like this place because its close to home. Ate inside the restaurant twice, service was HORRIBLE, waitstaff is rude and take forever - both times. Ribs were dry, burger was salty, food was not good.
Decided to give delivery a chance. Phoned in - RUDE waitress takes order, awful - awful delivery driver who was fat & sloppy, even more rude. And even worse, the food was dry.
This is a wannabe trendy rib place. Avoid it, you can get more authentic BBQ a few miles away. Try JR's BBQ on La Cienega, delicious food, great service, ribs to die for.
Zeke's is horrible. Avoid it.-

Nice, casual atmosphere, large portions, and reasonable prices.
My party had the pulled pork and beef brisket, both of which were excellent. But what impressed us most was the service.
Our party of 4 had theatre tickets and needed to get in and out of Zeke's within an hour. We told the manager that we where in a hurry when we were greeted and he immediately gave us advice on which items on the menu they could serve quickly and which took 15 minutes or more to prepare.
The manager then took our drink order and alerted our waiter and in 5 minutes we had our drinks and had placed our food order. 10 minutes later our food showed up and 25 minutes later we had paid and were out the door. Not only was the speed impressive, but the staff was friendly and helpful the whole time.
They treated our special request as a positive challenge and were funny and kind about it. It was a great experience and in less than 40 minutes we had a good meal at reasonable prices.
We're already planning to go back when we have more time.
