| About: | Matsuri's stunning interior is spacious yet intimate, our cuisine is simple and refreshingly traditional, celebrating seasonal and quality ingredients. On the upper balcony level overlooking the main room is our lounge bar, and on the lower level is the main dining room and the Sake Room. The Sake Room is open for general seating and is also available for private events. Our extensive sake and shochu list includes 200+ bottles, many of which can only be found in Japan. A Sake Sommelier is onsite. Matsuri has joined NYC Summer Restaurant Week 2009. Our participation dates are from July 12-31 and Aug.2-Sept.7 thru labor day (excludes Saturdays). Please join us for dinner on Thursday, August 27 for our OBON Festival celebration! We will have a complimentary drum & dance performance by Taiko Masala at 10:00pm. We are featuring Yugure twilight drink specials from 5:30pm-8:00pm, and we are offering our Sakana small plates and a la carte dinner menu. Please call for more information! |

Matsuri: This is a great spot to go for authentic japanese food, the sushi is great and the other entrees are also really good. Its a great time.
