User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsi have lived in this tiny town called kane for three years, i stupidly made the mistake of not going to this restaurant until the end of my stay here. The food was by far, the best in town, at any of the 18 or so restaurants and snack hops i visited here during my time.
The place was clean, and the food was the best out of any place in town. it might be small, but it is sooo good. i wish i had come here first rather then wasting my time at the other places here. Not only was the food good, but the owner was friendly. and knowledgeable. geesh was he knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor too.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is on my TOP THREE RESTAURANT LIST. The black cherry cafe and restaurant has the best service in the world. It also has a great aptomosphere.The owner is very nice and he has some interesting things to talk about. He also makes very funny jokes. The breakfast at the black cherry was deliscios. The sausage is among some of the biggest ive seen and It was NOT microwave sausage. The home fries came in big portions. The eggs were very large and tasted very good. They had salt and pepper fresh. I think its better than all of the other resturants in Kane combined. I think they should open a website. I also noticed a good thing noone was smoking.
I was on vacation and I went to the black cherry cafe and resturant for about 4 days straight for breakfast
Dont listen to the other comment , the arlington is not a good resaurant and is the worst in kane. Texas hot lunch is always crowded and the seats are not comfortable.
NOTE: THis is my truely honest opinion about the resturant and is not a lie. THIS IS THE BEST RESTURANT EVER!!!!!!-

Aint worth it!: I live here in Kane and let me tell the Black Cherry is at the bottom of my favorite restarurants in Kane. Its a health food place they only serve health foods. Went there for brekfest once and it was terrible the portions were small and harldy worth the money. The sausage was micorwave sausage and the bacon as well the eggs were weired tasting (couldnt put salt on pepper on them, they dont have any!). The place is not worth the stop at all. Goto The Arlington or Texas Hots for a good meal! The Arlington has awsome food and great protions well worth the price! Texas Hots is a great place and envirmonet.

They do not have microwave sasauge. They had salt and pepper. Just because you dont like it you dont have to make up stuff about the black cherry.

I have one question to ask? How do you know what my encounter with the place was like? Were you with me? I dont recall seeing you sitting next to me. So how would you know what I encountered at the location? Those are the things I encountered If you encountered something better great for you! I wrote an opinion on what I experienced. Im sorry if my experience was different from yours! Maybe you dont think that possible i dont know? What ever the case may be why do you think the place is always dead as a door nail? There is never anyone in the place maybe 1 or 2 old people at the most. The Arlington Is not a "worst " place to eat in town! You cannot go anywhere in town or around town and get the portions for the price. It also taste great. You must be one of those "high" class people that are too good to try a place like that. Maybe if you would you would enjoy it some of the best food in the world is found in places like that. Also Texas Hot is always packed because its a great place to eat duh!
