Azul Bar & Nightclub

I have recently visited this club, and I have to agree with most on the crowd. Azul does make up for it in the music, and some of the bartenders. Some of the girls behind the bar dont seem to know what they are doing they are very slow to get to you. I have had luck with my drinks with the bartender that has the thin beard. He is usually the on thats all over the bar. I gues if you go out with the intention of having fun you will. I will keep going to Azul.

I was at Azul for my sister's birthday on Saturday, August 15 2009. Within 10 minutes of opening my tab I was told my one of the servers that she gave my Visa to someone else who had just closed their tab and that they left with my card. As if this wasn't bad enough, she asked if I had another card so she could charge the drinks I had already ordered. After speaking with the General Manager who was just as incompetent, he informed me that I was welcome to stay and drink there if I had cash or another card to use. When I started to argue that they were the ones who gave my card away and that they would right their wrong, my friend and I were kicked out by 2 bouncers. After checking with my bank, they charged my card $40.00 for either my drinks or the drinks whoever had my card had ordered. Everyone who works there refused to help. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and intend on speaking with the owners. DO NOT go there! They are careless and rude!

That sucks, don't worry. I'm glad you put this review in, my friend was planning on going there tonight. Just thought I'd let you know, you can dispute the charges through your bank. Without your valid signiture, the club isn't authorized to charge the card. All you have to do it File a Merchant Dispute. They will get a copy of the signed receipt and see that it is not your signiture.

Thanks so much. Yeah, my bank took care of it. In reading other people's reviews about this place it seems that incompetent and rude bouncers/management is common around that place. Wish I knew of other places in the area to send your friend. My best suggestion is going a little further out to Hollywood. Best place in the world to go out drinking.

I was so disappointed by the customer service at Azul. My brother gave them his credit card to open a tab. We had only been there 15 minutes when the waitress informed us that she had accidentally given my brother's card to someone else who was closing out. That person had since left the club. Then my brother asked that the round of drinks be comped due to their mistake. The manager refused and told my brother he could be on his way. At that time my brother got a little angry and was asked to leave the club. My husband had ordered some buckets of beer, but when my brother was asked to leave, my husband refused to sign for them and told the waitress we were leaving as well. She assured us that we would not be charged for the beer, but Azul ended up deducting 60 dollars from our account even though we never drank a drop of the alcohol. If you don't want to get cheated or have your credit card given away to random strangers, stay far away from Azul. The staff should have been bending over backwards to try to rectify the situation, but instead they were rude and dishonest. They need to learn that good customer service will go a long way when it comes to repeat customers. My friends and I will certainly never go back to Azul.
