One of my favorite night spots in San Diego. Friday night is house music night (not as many people as Sat) and if you like House music its usually quality. Hasa very retro feel to it - open air outside with heat lamps where you can watch the planes fly overhead and an inside with a little dance floor near the DJ booth and a pretty big VIP section. Saturday night it tends to attract mainly a spanish/mexican crowd (with plenty of hot senoritas). If you don't get there early on saturday (around 10PM) plan on waiting in line.

Modern Look in an Old Establishment: The "Airport" is a hip place to relax and soak up beautiful people and a unique environment. Set in Little Italy in a converted factory lies a bar that serves up quality cocktails and good food. The bar is designed to feel like your in jet airplane and in the movie Scarface. With retro furniture and 80's music playing, the waitrisses are decked out in stewardes's uniforms delivering drinks while you watch 80's movies on the many screens in the bar. The coolest thing about the bar is that they took advantage of thier proximity to the airport. An opened ceiling outside area allows visiters to see the bottom (and hear) of 737's as they approach Lindbergh Field. Pretty cool. Bring your wallet, drinks get expensive and if you want table service, that costs a pretty penny too. On Friday and Saturday nights the line gets long, so get there early and remember to have $$ for the cover ($10 last time I went). If you haven't been, go, it's worth the experience.

Nice work JeffSDSU2000 on the review! I do believe it's time for me to do a revisit on the establishment.
