Excellent: For downtown area...This is far and away the best Italian restaurant going. Great menu options, unique dishes, and a funky yet sophisticated atmosphere. Excellent service. Only issue is that it can get loud at times.
Always Good By Big City Standards: PoPazzo is sone of the restaurants you can depend on being good on all levels from atmosphere to food. Joe Busalacchi and his wife, when they are not in one of the other Busalacchi restaurants are great hosts and their staff work hard to provide good service.
Try the veal chop as it truly is as good as any in Chicago.
Wonderful Italian food, and dessert!: I have only been there once, but can't wait to go back! Po Pazzo has great Italian food combined with a wonderful setting. They have a great menu with lots of variety. During dinner there was a man playing the Piano, which was very nice. (Could be a very romantic date!) I was there with friends celebrating a birthday and we had such a great time. The complimentary "Birthday Dessert" was the most amazing chocolate souffle I have ever ate. Possibly the best dessert I have ever had as well! Worth going even to skip dinner just for the dessert! But the dinner was great as well. A highly enjoyable experience!
