Great Place to go!: I have been to the Shanachie several times, and I have been very impressed each time I was there by the deliciously prepared food, the friendly and efficient servers, and the atmosphere is splendid! I highly recommend you give the Shanachie a shot! You won't be dissapointed!

Totally Ordinary With No Value: Our dinners were absolutely nothing special. The beef stew was salty and the vegetables were overcooked. Very ordinary. I make better beef stew at home using McCormicks beef stew mix. The Cottage Pie had little to no chicken in it and was all of about 5 inches in diameter. It was laid on a plate with nothing accompanying it. Come on, for the price, at least put some garnish on the plate. The pork medallions were nothing special either. A truely disappointing meal. There is very little value for the price here. We won't go back. Oh, at least the service was good.

Good Food and Music: Overall we had a good time at Shanachie. Though a little light on ambiance, they more than make up for it with good music. The seating is open, not intimate - and the food was very good though presentation was lacking. Kid friendly to-boot, with a great variety of selections for younger diners.
