SushiThai won Macon Telegraph's "best of the best" for both the sushi and Thai category in 2008. It is the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to and I have lived all over the world and still have not had better sushi than this restaurant's! If you are into just fresh sushi or sushi rolls with amazing flavor, you definitely have to come try their food! The servers are awesome and so are the sushi chefs.
The person that gave a one is probably one of the typical rednecks who ordered something that was more expensive than the mall food court or Chinese buffet and got frustrated about it. I have been going to this restaurant for 5 years now and recommend it to everyone! I have not had one person I recommended give it a bad review.
If you are looking for low quality food, you should go elsewhere. If you want exotic flavors then definitely try their food. My favorite is the BruceLee roll and stuffed tuna!
The last 2 times we have eaten here the food has gone down hill, my son ordered fried rice and it came out with the look and a similar taste of Spanish rice. The Sushi rolls quality is bad. The 2 young men making the sushi are good enough to be apprentices but not sushi chefs. if your looking for mediocre sushi that has way too much mayonnaise in all the sauces this place is for you. The hibachi Food my wife ordered well it tasted like some one dumped a bottle of teriyaki sauce all over it. I will not recommend this to any one and for the price it was not worth it.
Fresh, tender & delicious fish! love the white tuna sashimi,Oyster crunchs, Gyoza, Age tofu, seafood salads... all are a must to try!
Ask for the specialty rolls (they are not in the menu) we haven't tried a roll we didn't like.
There isn't another sushi bar like this in town, We will miss you Sushi Thai when we move to Atlanta! where are we going to find this quality for this price?! Sushi Thai made me addicted to Sushi!!! (and I've always hated fish)
