I was referred to Dr Garner last year when one of my German Shepherds needed assistance crossing over the Rainbow Bridge. I did not want to ake my Snowy to an cold sterile office for this. Dr. Garner was kind, considerate, thoughtful & professional. I highly recommend her.
In 2009, our cat Missy was having a very hard time breathing and I thought that she had developed an allergy. I was afraid to put her in the car to take her to the vet because the car terrified her and with the breathing problem, I decided not to chance it. I came across Dr. Garner's name while searching for options. She came right over, put Rescue Remedy on Missy's head and Missy calmed down immediately and let the Dr. examine her. Dr. Garner said she thought that Missy had a large mass in her breast that was only allowing only a very small amount of air through. She said that only an x-ray could tell for sure. We took Missy to the vet, and sure enough, a huge breast mass was found. She was eleven years old and we had her put down to save her the pain of trying to breathe. It was very heartbreaking. I will never forget the service Dr. Garner provided. I am sure that she is the most compassionate veterinarian I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I would trust her with any of my pets.
