Good food, definately not a bargin but you almost get what you pay for. The dinner salad for $1 is a loop hole. The piano player in the bar is great but they ruined the bar atmospher by getting rid of the high top tables. The bar space is not optimally utilized. This is a decent dinning option in Naperville if you do not mind paying a tad of a premium for a nite on the town.
Way, way, way too expensive. There are better places within walking distance of the Frog for half the cost. Can you say "pretentious"?
My absolute favorite restaurant in Naperville!
They have wonderful and flavorful steaks, as well as seafood dishes. The lobster bisque was some of the best tasting I've ever had. I mentioned this to our waiter and he was surprised, stating "they've received complaints that it doesn't have enough chunks of lobster in it". Excuse me complainers, but it's bisque not chowder, and it's all about the taste. At quite a few really nice restaurants I've eaten at.... the lobster bisque tastes raunchy. My compliments to the chef's there!
And yes, it can take a while to be seated, even with reservations. Just one of the things you have to deal with to get into a sought after restaurant. Yes, the bar scene can be very packed while waiting...but what are you going to do?
