User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is what we've been waiting for...!: Delicious FRESH food... Mexican but with a contemporary twist! Plus they cater to your needs. Vegetarians and meat eaters alike love this place! I bring my friends there because I know that they will enjoy the experience. You leave there full but not bloated and with a smile on your face! Its a good time place! Very relaxing!

i love this place, in fact i fiind myself unable to enjoy many other mexican resturants now because the shack is just such a cut above the others.
the staff is great and Edward, the owner and chef, is very personable and accomodating.
everything is made fresh when you order it so even special orders are available.
this place is existing on word of mouth.... and once people come in they are hooked.
recomendation: the baja tacos!
(in fact i heard a rumor that the great chef david burke recently came in just to try them!)
the great specials are always changing depending on whats fresh fro the sea or at the local markets.
a great place to enjoy dinner after a day at the beach or an alternative to overcrowded red bank.-

Awesome Food, with a Kick!!!: This restaurant is awesome, I eat there once a week.. The tacos are to die for.. Not to mention the NY Strip Steak, perfect amount of spices, lots of flavor.. It's pretty cheap to eat here!!! Plus it is a bring your own booze place which helps lower the cost of the bill!!! Also, they have a margharita machine so you can bring in your own mixers and they will crank out some tasty margs!!! I highly recommend this place.. Also, has a kids menu, so bring the kids with you... The website is located here, it includes a menu and directions.. Also, has great sea food, i'm not much of a sea food eater, but people rave about the sea food dishes here.. Hope my review is helpful!!
