can't wait to go back: i took my daughter and sister to see "into the deep: 3-D" the day after thanksgiving. despite the holiday crowds, screaming children and pushy parents, the show was breathtaking and well worth the hassle. we put on our 3-D shades, sat back and engaged in the spectacular exploration of life beneath the pacific.

the theatre itself is overwhelming. the impressive screen at almost 100 feet tall by 60-some feet wide, and the breathtaking surround sound left us in awe. "into the deep" was edcuational and very entertaining. a bit short (approximately 30 minutes) for the expense in my opinion ($8/adult; $7/child) but again... money well spent. IMAX is truly a unique experience and i will be back again and again. the smithsonian offers passes where you can see a combo of movies - if you have the time, go for it. every show is an amazing event.
