What a wonderful dining experience! The Westlawn continues to re-invent itself. Our Thanksgiving Eve dinner was wonderful - from the cream of crab soup, to the pumpkin seed crusted salmon, to the spiced apple creme brulee - everything was wonderful. The service was excellent and the ambiance was elegantly friendly. We stopped by the bar on the way out - a friendly bar group made the evening extra fun. The restaurant is well worth the trip to North Beach.

Good service, Great atmosphere and presentation and that is about the extent of it. As for the food, I've had freeze dried meals that were better.

My husband and I decided to try the brunch at Westlawn for Mother's day, and we weren't disappointed. We had been told they had a new chef and a new menu so we decided to try it out. The food and service were both excellent and our first glass of champagne was free. We had the french toast and roasted crabcake, respectively, and would highly recommend both. The crab soup is rich, light and creamy, unlike others in the area that are too heavy and hide the taste of the crab. We'll be going back!!
