User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI called in for a take out order, when I arrived the cashier was on the phone, I waited in line. Then someone else comes up and the cashier after totally ignoring me, waits on the other person. I walked out and called later to cancel and the casier was very rude and obnoxious. I will not be ordering from there again.
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThe delivery was fast, but the food was just okay. If you have ever been to China Town in Chicago, China Star will be a big disappointment.

Well, if you weren't standing at the counter, the person probably thought you had already been helped. And the cashier was probably rude to you because they cooked all your food and now you are just saying, "I don't want it anymore". Now they just have to throw it out. I worked at China Star for two years and it can get pretty hectic in there (Everybody at IWU and ISU knows China Star is the best so they can get CRAZY busy) so sometimes service can take a hit, but the food is PHENOMENAL. Best chinese food I've ever had, and I wish so desperately that I could find a place in the Rockford area that was even close to China Star's quality.
