Kims has done so much for my daughters i have a 2 year old that has learned so much and i think if there was not good teaching she wouldnt have learned a thing. Diana is the sweetest person and there is just a sense of family feeling there they are friendly and i just love it there and so do my girls !!!!!!!!!
I agree with everyone on here besides Jenny. My daughter has been attending Kim's High Steppers for almost a year now and it has done so much for her. She started off very uncoordinated, and now knows how to do a front flip, cartwheel and many other things. She is learning many dance moves, none of which are booty popping or stripper style moves. I wouldn't let my 4 year old daughter be a part of that if that was the case. Jenny has her facts dead wrong and is probably just a mother whose daughter couldn't cut it. By the way, Ms. Di is awesome!
The studio has been through a lot in the past couple of years. The owner is a very loving woman who has had to put up with a lot of scruff over the last few years and is like a 2nd mother to a lot of the kids at the studio. Once upon a time there was a teacher who taught while she was in high school BUT she was also captain of her schools dance team, danced on dance teams for 6 years prior to teaching, participated in musical theater, honor student, and former member of a team that just recently went on to nationals and won 1st 2nd and 3rd places in their categories. As far as being qualified, I think she fit the mold. If you disagree I'd love to show you.
Please feel free to attend other dance studios, ours just has it's own personal way of doing things that some may disagree with. Dance teachers are hard to come by. They are usually young meaning career and/or life choices interfere with their job at the studio.
Also, levels of ability vary from child to child some believe different studios can fix this aspect. In most cases the ability of the child should fall back on the child, there is a certain level children may achieve of which they may never advance.
