If you want to go to a hillbilly hang out where most of the people are missing thier front teeth this is the place. The kareoke singers are absolutely the worst you will ever hear. The service is terrrible! You have to stand in line forever to get a drink and the bartenders are rude. They could use two more bar tenders at each end of the bar. There are three bathrooms total and one is usually out of order so hope you don't have to go because you will be waiting in a line again. The parking lot could use a streetlight and is unpaved, so don't wear your heals. The food is not too bad.
If you are a fan of dive bars, look no further. I will give the proprietors a nod to their delicious and very affordable menu of pub food and real big steaks. Service is unpolished as one might expect from the rather large metal/cinder block structure that houses Wild River. No corporate branding or over-the-top, eager-to-please popper-pushers here. The karaoke offering is mostly along the country/hard rock line which can be too much during dinner hours. Farmington also has not yet passed a smoking ban on bars or restaurants so you can expect a dark and smoky atmosphere. Regardless, the drinks are cheap and the food is good and that's more than you can ask of most Farmington eateries.
Not a bad place they just need to hire some security to be kind of a visual enforcement. But how are you gonna fix the Sheet smell that almost knocks you over as you get out of your car (WOW). Kinda makes you question the health dept. in Farmington
