    I came to Kanessa at Salon Red @ 350 to update my look... the resounding response from everyone I know is that she took off 10 years. I had the post-pregnancy, can't do nuthin' with my hair look. Now I'm stylish and sassy with a quick and easy do that 's easy to maintain and breathtaking every day.

    The most important thing to add is that Kannessa LISTENED to what I wanted, as a carpenter would say, measure twice, cut once! She didn't give me that old tired look that makes me hesitant to go to the salon in the first place. She caught my adventuresome spirit and found a style that fit my needs and my lifestyle. Furthermore she worked with the fact that I'm a swimmer who subjects my hair to abuse by chlorine and constant washing. No matter. She found a style that works for me and that has grown out nicely.

    I'm hesitant to write a glowing review because I don't want to have to wait for an appointment as she gains popularity. For all she does to get my look, she is efficient and quick. Appointments are easy to book and are pretty close to on time. When there is a wait, she usually makes up the time, which is important considering my busy lifestyle.

    Wow! It's so good to see Kanessa get the props she deserves. I have been a client of hers for 8yrs and will follow her wherever she goes! Kanessa is as you said: professional, knows her craft and listens! I just made an appointment with her before coming online and I am so very happy I trusted my instincts all those years ago to have her take care of my hair. I know I will be looking great when I leave her chair. Kudos to you K you deserve it. D.

    I will NEVER go to Salon Red again. I went there to have the "Newbury Street" salon experience, and ended up with the WORST hair color I have ever had. I saw Ali, and she sure did talk a big game. She convinced me to get an all over one process to go blonde, when every other stylist I have ever seen told me that my natural color was too dark to do this. As I feared, I turned out having orange hair. And the worst part is, my hair is too fine to re-dye so soon, so I have been suffering with orange hair all summer. AND, since I got a one process, which is something new, it is going to be sooo hard to fix. My hair will not look normal again until it has fully grown out...which will take years. Thanks Salon Red...for ruining my hair!

    HI this is Ali, I would love to say that I will do anything and have done everything to be kind and help my clients with their hair color. I am an Educator for Redken as well as a Certified Haircolorist. As I am fully aware of which client wrote this email, I would like to add that I was not the only colorist working on this person's color so I can not take full responsability for the situation. I also would like to add that I will still be happy to work on your color and get you where you need to be with no resentments or angst. I want all of my clients to be happy and will strive to do the best job that I can. We now have new additives that were relesed last month by Redken for senarios such as this. If I never get to see you again I wish you well and am empathetic to any discomfort you may be feeling. What you did leave out is that I gave you 2 free glazes and blowdrys to get you through the worst of it. I also offered you a full highlight and lowlight after some newgrowth came in to balance you out. This offer still stands and is the answer to the problem. Best of luck to you if you decide not to take me up on it and to go elswhere, and call me at the salon if you want to make an appointment.

    I went in for a consult for a weave or extensions and several of the "workers" who had nothing to do came at me like vultures and started insulting how i looked. After having horrible experiences in the past and having hair damage they acted offended that i asked questions(?) and was actually called ignorant for not trusting them....??? So unprofessional its amazing people would put up with that...RUDE!
