User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI love Carson's Creekside!! It's my favorite place around Middle River. We always call ahead and reseve a table outside on the dock/deck. it's so nice out on the water with the ducks, and we always get x-tra bread to feed the ducks and no one minds, it's fun. they are very creative here as well, they added a floating dock/barge thing for smoking, compleat with adorandack chairs, I'm not a smoker but it's so cool, I might start!
The food is always good, honey-garlic wings, great salsds, crab cakes of course, everythings very good, sevice is always caotic and under staffed, but we don't care we're outside enjoying the atmospere, take your time!!
Inside look kinda dark and loud, I only eat outside.

User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWent to this place over the weekend. (5/2/09) Food was horrible, spent $29.00 on crab cakes without the lump meat. Crab dip tasted like a bowl of cream cheese. I don't think this place likes to use old bay. Crab cakes are better at Box Hill Pizza in Abingdon,MD and they aren't even a seafood restaurant! Don't go here!! Don't waste your money or time!

We are so sorry that your experience was not a good one. Was this your first and only visit? We take great pride in making our customers happy, so, if you have a problem, we need to know at the time so that we can make sure you are satisfied. Receiving a bad review like this is certainly something that we don't like to see. We use jumbo lump crab in all of our crab dishes (except Maryland Crab soup) the only thing I can think is that whoever made the crab cakes broke up the meat. Altho we did not have any other complaints on that day, you did not enjoy your food and we would have made sure that you didn't pay for it, had we known. If you do decide to give us a 2nd try and chance to redeem ourselves, I'm sure your ecxperience will be a better one. If not, then please let the server and/or Manager know. That is the only way we can take care of it. Thanks!-

The only positive comment I can make is that the food was hot. It was bland, bland, bland. My chicken was chewy and the "jumbo lump crab meat" was no bigger than a small lima bean. I would not go there again.

We are sorry that you did not like your food on your visit in 2008. We do use Jumbo lump crabmeat on all of our crab dishes. If the meat was that small, whichever cook prepared the dish must have broken the meat up during preparation. We take great pride in our food and service. If there is ever a problem, please just let the server or Manager or either me or my husband know. We will make it right. Thanks! Debbie Houck

Hi, thanks for your positive comments about Carson's Creekside. We truly do care about our customers and strive to make sue every experience is a good one. Unfortunately, we do get "slammed" sometimes and no matter how many folks we have working--it may not seem like enough. Scheduling can be a challenge. That is why we take reservations and encourage folks to make reservations so we get a better idea of what our dinner crowd will be like. If mor people would make reservations like you---that would be wonderful! Our windows are tinted so the dining room and lounge look alot darker from the outside then they might actually be....... Thanks so much for your positive comments! We wish more folks would take advantage of the fact that we take reservations, it would really help us when we are scheduling our staff! Many times, we get large parties that just walk in and it can throw us off sometimes. We are always working with our staff to improve the quality of service.
