After reading previous reviews; I expected my experience to be some what less then tolerable. Visited there late October (Styx/Reo Speedwagon/Night Ranger), the outdoor seating was perfect. Accoustics were better then expected. The layout was great and the staff; seamless and appear as needed (not at all harassing). Parking; I rode a motorcycle and was not subject to the walk of car riders that was no more then 5 min. for them, parking was free.
I won't set foot in this venue again UNLESS they
1. Create more entries to the parking lot.
2. Light the parking lot ( a big grass field)
3. Install a drain system in the parking lot.
4. Put row signs up.
If there's ANY rain during your concert your night will be ruined. For example,I went to see Kenny Chesney with my gf and once the concert was over, we went back to find our car. We had to walk through fields of ankle-high mud, surrounded by thousands of other lost people. There's no paved spaces so cars are just driving everywhere, and there are no distinct landmarks to recall where your car is (think Disney World...You're in Pluto Row K) The staff didn't even bother to help anyone and it completely ruined our night. Wait till your band goes to the next venue in Florida, you'll be glad you did!
Went to blink 182 concert on sept 27th...even though the bands were all amazing, this venue is the worst organized venue I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. I have vowed to never ever attent another event there. They closed all but one entrance to the parking lot..leaving 4 directions of traffic to fight there way in, causing a 2 1/2 hour delay to get in the lot. Then they have you take a 20 minute walk thru the mud to get to the gate. Where all they care about is who has a camera, not what the age of the beer drinkers are. Once they get your ticket checked thru the gate you will show that ticket over and over again during the evening, God forbid if you lose it jumping or something, they will not let you return to your seat. They stopped my 9 year old from getting back to me from a bathroom break. Thank God above she had a cell phone to call me so I could go get her. They are rude and condescending when you ask for directions to your seat. ( Sorry my head wasn't gps programmed with the layout of your venue! I see 2 concerts a month and have never been late to one. This one I walked in during the 2nd act because of their inefficiency. God forbid they should pay someone a couple of bucks out of my $57 ticket to direct traffic. Worst concert experience of my life!!! I think they could use a new event coordiantor so anyone looking for a job should seriuosly submit an application. Ford Amp you truly are the most unprofessional organization I have ever dealt with
