User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsSAD. It was just sad. We've eaten at the El Charro in Ozark, Missouri and thought this would be the same, but it wasn't. The food was skimpy and bland. My husband had very little beef in his fajitas and the kids' burritos had hardly any beans. The food was tasteless, and the service was comical. This was supposed to be a special treat for all of us on a special day, but turned out to be a big disappointment. Will never return.

I love El Charro. The one in West Plains is the best I've eaten at. But I think the one in Republic is better than the one in Ozark. The chips and salsa are delicious and the food is fabulous. No complaints. It's our absolute favorite place to eat at! Much better than other Mexican restaurants in Springfield with water salsa and nasty meat in their burritos and tacos. Yuck! This is the only Mexican restaurant worth visiting around the Springfield area!
