User Rating: 4 out of 5 starswe were there Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009. The service was very fast. The order was correct. On a Sunday it was very busy and we got in and out fast. Very good service and would go again when I'm back in NYC. VM from New Mexico. 80%

The only reason I like Ihop is for one thing, and this Harlem location didn't have it - Boysenberry Syrup! WHY?!!! Every other Ihop I have ever been to has boysenberry syrup included with the variety of syrups...but this location didn't. When I asked my server why they didn't carry it, she was completely clueless as to why. That, to me , is grounds for CLOSING this location. Plus, the service sucks.....which didn't surprise me. It's a known fact - the darker the business, the slower the service!

I am a BREAKFAST person first and foremost before anything else so the eggs, the sausage, the applesauce, the bacon, the hashbrowns, everything gets MY seal of approval. I cannot speak for anybody else but I have NEVER had a problem with anything about IHOP. I am also loving their new and innovative ways of coming up with new dishes, and the portions are MORE than sufficient and satisfactory.

I noticed that in your review of Lolita's you used the slurr ( wet backs ) and in the review for IHOP you said ( the darker the business...the slower the service ). You sound like a complete jackass and a racist. That is soooo lame! 50 yrs. ago many other people thought stupidly like you, but even a lot of them have changed. If you are caucasian and have ANY form of education you'd know that YOUR PEOPLE are NOT native Americans. They travelled here by boat just like every other race, African-Americans, Mexicans, and many others. Whites pilfered, stole and cheated Native American's of this land! Let all that hate and racist attitude go and step into the new millenium brother.
Shut it Beezo. What if she's Black? (Not African American because shes probably not from Africa). "The Darker The Biz...." crack may have been off color. But I live in Harlem. Spend some time there and the differences in how people act in there own community will shock u yo. I dont doubt for a second R was completely right. No doubt the waitress made her feel like a jerk, all because the waitress never heard of boysenberry.
