I went here the other day to see get smart and the service was excelent. not only did they offer beer for me and wine for my lady they made great suggestions on which ones to get. they also offered the typical movie theater things (ie, popcorn and candy, but also they had a great variety of sandwhiches and other things. this is a great atmosphere and will be definitly be coming back again.-

I am appalled by the Old Town Theater's new policy on mandatory concessions purchases. While attempting to purchase two $9 tickets, I was informed by the cashier that policy required me to buy two concession items- one for each ticket! Moreover, less expensive items, such as ice cream, would not "count."
Having no wish to spend even more money on junk food, I politely questioned the policy and pointed out that it was not clearly stated on the theater's website which listed prices. When I told the cashier that I was a student on a budget who only wanted a movie ticket, he looked me in the eye and snidely remarked, "Well, this place isn't for everyone."
It certainly isn't. Not only did the theater lose my business and that of my three friends, but we will not be returning in the future. It is no wonder that a business using such practices is struggling... 
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe Need More Like This!!: I've never been to a theatre where you can get food, and beverages. I love the atmosphere because its very relaxed everyone is friendly. Love it!! I try to go every week!!!
