The to sous chefs there got fired before they closed doors because food costs were so high and NO creativity the quality was no where near the level of Waldo Bistro Restaurant before it became Turtle club. Waldo's was in business for approx. 20 years. Turtle club maybe 3 or 4 years. Hello wake up people!!! Doesn't that tell you something. Now I hear the the sous chef rejects are at Lulu's Restaurant And Turtle club is trying to find some of the original family members of Waldos to possible we open turtle club with waldo's recipes. That would be the best place to eat in punta gorda and all over.

The Turtle Club is far and away the best place we have dined in the area. Not only is the chef inventive and interesting, but the staff are uniformly attentive and pleasant. For the quality, prices are more than fair.
