I don't know WHAT some of you people are talking about!
Last night was our first visit to PF Chang's and I can tell you that it is an awesome experience! The atmosphere is nice, dim lighting, candles on the tables, everything was clean (contrary to another reviewer's claim of the place being "dirty" & "greasy"). We didn't find it overly noisy, no more so than, say, Outback, and there were a lot of people there. We didn't feel crowded in the least. My husband & I got the $39.95 deal for two people which comes w/2 soups, 1 starter, 2 entrees, & 2 mini desserts. The lettuce wraps...amazing! The best hot & sour soup on the planet. We had the Kung Pao chicken & sweet & sour chicken...great flavors! (I don't care what anyone says; you can't recreate THAT from a kit @home. It'd certainly be good, but not like THIS). Service: out of this world. Our food was served hot, & our server would always let us know when she'd be bringing the next course w/out our even asking her. Our server was ON it! After asking if it was our first visit, she explained a lot about the food & the dipping sauces. She went above and beyond by a long shot. When we commented on how good the soup was, w/out even asking, she sent us home w/2 containers of it--no charge. I'll admit, the drinks are ridiculously expensive ($10.50 for ONE martini) but the food & beer prices are average, and the portions are fairly hefty (we had leftovers). Make a reservation though, or you might have to wait (even on a weeknight). We did & our table was ready & waiting when we arrived.
We ABSOLUTELY will be going back.
We have not eaten at PF Changs for over two years! And that is because the food was either cold, overly salty or not too good tasting. And it took several trips before we decided enough is enough because I am not one to judge a restaurant on the first visit, although our first visit was a very good experience. Don't waste your time and money here because even you have one good visit, they are not very consistent and you will eventually have a bad one, if not several bad visits.
By far my favorite Resturant in THE WORLD!!!
Nothing beats their delicious lettuce wraps and the Mojitos.....amazing, simply amazing!
