It's over 20 years Daniel cuts my hair and always with same Great Care. Free internet, coffee, something for a sweet tooth, great jokes and atmosphere helps me to relax being pampered after long day of hard work.

I am very loyal once I find a good barber. When I lived in Chicago, I drove 30 miles per way to go to the shop I trusted. Now I live in Campbell, CA and am happy to have found About Time Barber shop. The owner is an old school guy who takes his time and does it right. I have always been a walk-in, but have never minded the wait, as his shop is cleaner than any I have ever seen. He always has a fresh pot of coffee brewing with all the fixings I need, and good music to listen to while I wait. The computer in the waiting area has high speed internet for free and the place is wired for wi-fi if you happen to have your laptop with you. You will see elements of thought and design to the place, well beyond what a typical shop would ever do. And for a quick example of the owner's wry sense of humor, walk into the ultra-clean restroom and look around.

As for the haircuts, I have had three cuts and one razor shave, and all of them have been done unhurriedly and to perfection. The owner is currently the only chair operating. I asked him about why. He said he was just starting to talk to potential applicants, but I could tell from the ensuing discussion that it is critical to him to maintain the quality and atmosphere he has created. Stop in and I am sure you will see why.

I travel for a living and move from place to place quite frequently. This is the best shop I have been in (including my 30-minute drive in Chicago), and will be my shop until the day I move on from the Bay Area.

If you are looking for a barber this is the place to go. Great customer service and an excellent hair cut. It is worth every penny.
