Can u say kimchi.
The only Korean food in Japan Town.
This is not a default restaurant. It's actually quite tasty.
(I'm not Korean, but my hubby is and he also likes it).
Very disapointing. I love Korean food, have never complained about a restaurant, but this was expensive for food that was small in quantity and poorly prepared. The seafood pancake was greasy.... I am a chef...the used old oil that was beyond it saturation point...oil went right into the potato.
The soup used a commodity chicken base...the meat portion of our other dish was almost non existant.
This is O-NO-gari!!! I went there this Tues eve, the place was less than 1/3 full and the hapa waiter REFUSED to seat me while I waited for my friend. This is by far the worst customer service I've ever had!!!!!!!!!!! and I've been to hundreds of GREAT restaurants. My friend and I ended up leaving and they made us feel so NOT welcome!! One of the Korean women by/behind the counter must've been the owner - they just looked at me snootily, never smiled, never greeted me, and did NOT make us feel welcome!! I cannot believe it! If you want great Korean food, this is NOT the place, and I AM Korean. Go to SGD Tofu House or to Choi's in Santa Clara. With so many great Korean restaurants in the Valley, why go to this gawd-awful place??!! They are not worth a 2nd glance, let alone a 1st glance. I doubt the food was good - maybe decent. The jerk - who is probably their hapa son, is sorely mistaken that this is common place in many restaurants in that they won't seat you until all in the "group" arrives!! Did he not understand when I said "a" friend - i.e., ONE friend, not a "group." He said there was no place for me to wait inside, meaning I had to wait OUTSIDE!!! How crass and ridiculous! I will tell all in my circle of friends, co-workers and acquaintances NOT to patronize this AWFUL place! In fact, I'll circulate my reviews to all - they need to know how fake this place is. They give Koreans a bad name!
