Genuine Vietnamese according to all my vietcong friends. Good enough for them good enough for me.
Just joking. I always call them Cong ( they call me far worse.) My wife id Viet. This is where we met.
I love it.
Anise Cafe is in a poor location, next to a liquor store in a run down strip mall location. We were kinda in two minds, but still decided to go inside the restaurant. When we walked it for our 6:45 reservation, there was no one at the reception and there was tapestry sitting around in bundles on one of the tables. We waited for someone to show up at the reception for 5 minutes, and no one did, even though we had a reservation. We just decided to walk out.
this place was hidden, one of those that should have never been found...
terrible food, terrible service, terrible, terrible...
