User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI was a little hesitant reading the two negative reviews posted by people here. Reading those 2 stories, I think that was the same person with a vendetta against the school, because they were just the most professional, courteous, and responsible instructors I have taken lessons with. I'm glad I didn't go to another school because of those reviews! It's partially true, Pedro can be get a bit frustrated when you don't catch on after the 10th time, but he will calmly tell you what you're doing wrong, and give you opportunities to do it again. The DMV people won't be as nice or as patient! I highly doubt they were being unprofessional and harassing , because I thought all of them were true gentlemen in every sense of the word. I am young, and attractive, and not one of the instructors was less than professional with me! Please don't listen to those negative reviews, and go to Carmen Driving School! Also, say hello to Angela while you're there. She truly is the heart and soul of that school, and she's an extremely patient and nice person. You won't find such decent and professional people at any other of Manhattan's notoriously bad and expensive driving schools.

this school is a GREAT school, I love the Secretary she is sooo FRIENDLY! and the instructors are good. I highly think you should go to this school, its not even expensive for how the economy is now !

Ladies, WATCH OUT! There are perverts in this school. They use their instructor position to get a feel up. Miguel tried to get my number. Another instructor told me about this sexual history, and a third instructor tried to grab my thigh. If you hate being handled by a stranger, stay away!
And to make matters worse, they don't how to teach. They were not patient with me. Pedro yelled at me constantly. And they don't care if you learn or not. Pedro even read his newspaper during my lessons.
So it was no surprise that I bombed the exam after 4 months of lessons.
Ladies and gents stay away from this school of indifferent, impatient, perverted instructors.
