bvu optinet fiberoptic service: pro- the fiberoptic has really good speed with little packet loss(where it says page not found or a part of page has error). it's excellent for gaming, it comes in 3 speeds 1mb 2mb and 3mb Per Second! that's phenomenal. seeing how (1000k=1mb) theres dial-up at 56k, cable and dsl at 288k, and T1 at 1mb. T1 is like network cable directly from 1 com to another.and the prices are reasonable if you play games online or download alot.

cons- fiberoptic is still a new medium and theyre just now laying the wire for it, which means the network still has it's bugs at times and service may go down for an hour unexpectedly. with any luck tho this new technology will replace all the old copper wiring that was so hazardous and unreliable. it's a wonder we were able to keep the copper wire telephone system going for 100+ years.
