I've dealt with Bredgeport Equipment for at least 5-6 years in both locations.
I've never had a problem with them or their equipment. The owner is a union electriction and a decent guy. If you can't get the information you need, call him at the store in Bridgeport Ohio.
You can't get anyone on the phone that knows about the equipment you take in to get serviced, this after being on hold seemingly forever. They have had my John Deere mower for weeks and no one knows what, if anything, has been done with it! Very poorly managed and apathetic about helping customers. The store has a lot of good stuff, but no one seems to know enough to knowledgeably answer questions about it.
Let me get this straight---I need to be patient when no one there can answer a question; sit on my hands while I wait; when they try to take some of my parts just ignore it; don't take my business elsewhere because the problem is with me; I really shouldn't bother them with calls or questions because they are too busy to answer; the writer of the above comment has no personal interest in the business; pigs can fly. I got it!
I am a customer of Bridgeport. They answer the phone as promptly as possible. They make immediate efforts to help phone customers. They can't know everything about everything. When they don't, they contact the service dept. or the parts dept. Sometimes these departments are working on other requests. They answer all questions as fast as they can. HAVE YOU EVER WORKED BEHIND A COUNTER IN A BUSINESS LIKE THIS. Think it is easy? Try it, then be honest with yourself about being impatient. I just wait my turn. Try managing such a business and maybe we all can learn how to run one. NO, I AM NOT AN EMPLOYEE, JUST A CUSTOMER who has learned to be patient.
