Great staff! Great coffee! Great atmosphere!
They're the real deal, not pretentious, just doing what they do
Why is it not surprising to find that "retiree" Peggy Bonfield in Birmingham, Alabama, who states that Starbucks failure is good for businesses like Crestwood Coffee Company, just happens to be a delegate to Democrat party?
Starbucks created the market for upscale coffee shops like Crestwood, and the failure of Starbucks means the eventual failure of Crestwood, and Bonfield and millions of other American businesses and individuals, is just around the corner.
When the U.S. economy fails, as evidenced by indicators such as Starbucks-type businesses failing, people don't have money to spend at Crestwood, meaning Crestwood can't pay its employees, meaning they suffer financially and Crestwood can't stay in business. Multiply this times the millions of people and businesses in a community that are all inter-dependent on each other and you'll have even the wealthiest citizens standing in bread lines. It's happened before when no one said it could happen, and it can easily happen again now.
So support all business in your community, Starbucks and independent, or you;ll all be paying the price very soon.
Crestwood Coffee Company is the real deal. Offering fair trade and organic coffees, CCC pulls the best shots around and creates authentic coffee beverages to enjoy in the funky comfort of the shop, or take it on the road with you. They also offer a selection of pastries, sandwiches, and soups, and they are vegetarian friendly. There is an outdoor patio in the front and a private patio in the back. CCC also features art shows for local artists and the occasional community, garage, or fundraiser sale.
The staff is awesome - everyone is friendly and kind, and the coffee is excellent and fresh, made with thought and appreciate for the drink. Drop in, hang out, and catch a caffeine buzz.

Is this about the coffee house or your personal politics? Saying Democrat instead of Democratic Party gives you away. Go grind your axe somewhere else
Without numbers to support your claim, that our truely "local" and community oriented coffee shop will fail because a "chain" coffee house is failing is incredulous! True Neighborhood Coffee shops evolve symbiotically in the communities they reside. We are all challenged in these economic times but our numbers reflect a support and strength in the community that prefer our warmth to a drive-thru. Thanks anyway, but we're doing fine......Crestwood Coffee Co
So Chickflick... You were the first to "review" CCC, giving it 5 out of 5 Stars. And then in your reply to Tertan above, you ID yourself as being and speaking on behalf of CCC. So that means you were "reviewing" and posting about YOUR OWN PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT? That's kinda sneaky, underhanded, misleading and just plain wrong. Anyone who would "review" the place where they work in order to put more money in their own pocket, well... I'll never give you the satisfaction of putting any of MY money in your greedy little hands, you can count on that. And the way "Awful Bliss" below describes "CCC pulls the best shots around" also indicates to me that they too are probably employed by CCC. You folks should be ashamed. Here's your quotes: User Rating: 5 out of 5 stars by chickflick 12/14/2008 Great staff! Great coffee! Great atmosphere!
