On a 14.50 ride, i thought a $4.50 extra charge for using a credit card is over it.

never use this company. they gouge and they argue with you. And when you have a problem there is no one you can speak with. Take United Cabs when you need a cab. Their dispatchers are rude but at least you get pleasant drivers.
