Help! I need somebody (else to sing)!: My first experience with Minacapelli's was altogether lovely. Great food, great show, great time. This second time started out great as well. Personable propietors served a tasty, generous meal in a cozy setting. Then began "An Evening of Song" with Joan Spraggins and Ricki Luke. Excruciating, to say the least. Ricki Luke was fine, but Joan was obviously not at her best. She seemed stressed out, couldn't carry the songs, either was too loud or couldn't let go of the words. She did not at all seem 'natural', her facial expressions protracted. She projected an unease in her manner and voice that made it painful for me and others to endure. Intermission could not come soon enough.
I still like this little dinner theatre, but I will not go there again without a recommendation for the entertainment.
great shows, great atmosphere!: A wonderful dinner and an awesome show- what more could anyone want! I have the privilege of performing on stage for the next month and it has been a great experience! I encourage everyone looking for a nice night out to come by and support a local business and local arts!
