User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsHave eaten at this "authentic Afghan " restaurant many times & very impressed with the new expansion. Comfortable, pleasant atmosphere. Friendly service, reasonable prices, tasty food. Interesting cuisine. Favorites: Naringe Palaw (rice cooked with orange peels, almonds & pistachios), Ashak (steamed dumplings), Chapli Kabob (combination of ground beef & ground lamb), Baklava & Elephant Ears pastry for dessert. Love the cucumber salad & marvelous flat bread. BYOB. Convenient parking behind Village Square Mall.

The food at Silk Road is delicious. The service is warm and fantastic. Such a gem hidden is a strip mall in Warren, NJ. The salad they serve along with homemade bread and sauces was scrumptious. LOVED IT!
