Good, but not great. The food was average, about like you'd get at a church/school social. The service was excellent. Nice people.
Hasn't changed a bit in 20 years!: Honey Bear's has been in the valley since 1986. I found the original in Phoenix one day because i could smell it and I just followed the heavenly aroma to it's source. So glad I did too.
BBQ pork so good, you forget all other BBQ joints. Hot Links sandwiches for the stout of heart and the iron of tounge. And the ribs, oh my, the ribs are manna from heaven itself.
Then there are Cowbro Beans! An original concoction of Honey Bear's they are a delight, both spicy and sweet. The chicken is wonderful as well. Do yourself a favor and go hungry.
Prices are a bit higher than a typical sandwich shop, but this is REAL bar-b-que done Tennessee style, it's worth the price.
Word to the wise; take plenty of napkins!
YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!: How much sugar can you put into your BBQ sauce??? Made literally sick to my stomach after 3 bites. I would never ever eat there again.
